Bishop Odetoyinbo lays the foundation of Asero Parish Rectory, Blesses Tabernacle

The joy of the Parish Priest of Holy Family Catholic Church, Asero Estate, Rev. Fr. Patrick Oke and his parishioners knew no bounds as the Bishop, Catholic Diocese of Abeokuta, Most Rev. Dr. Peter Olukayode Odetoyinbo recently laid foundation of the Reverend Father’s house for the parish.

The bishop commended the zeal, commitment and determination of the parish to build Father’s house.

He congratulated them that God counted them lucky to be part of the good history in the parish.

The prelate also blessed the parish tabernacle, where  he charged the parishioners to make good use of the Tabernacle by coming to Church for adoration, saying Jesus will always wait for them to listen to their petitions, adding that the Church has become a sacred place of worship with the blessing of the Tabernacle.

In a chat with the Parish Pastoral Council Chairman, Mr. Charles Akinmolayan noted that the need to build a rectory for priests in the parish became necessary since the parish now has her own priest.

He therefore commended the courage of the Parish Priest and Parishioners in the face of all odds and thanked them for their sacrifices and commitment to see that the project get completed in no distance time.
