Stop the Killings Now- Bishop Odetoyinbo

Following the directive of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) to all faithful in Nigeria to stage a peaceful protest nationwide on account of the incessant killings of Nigerians, the Bishop, Most. Rev. Dr. Peter Odetoyinbo led the Catholic faithful in Abeokuta in the peaceful protest in Abeokuta the State Capital on May 22, 2018. The day of the protest was careful chosen as it marked the day of the funeral Mass for Frs. Felix Tyolaha and Joseph Gor, and 15 parishioners who were gruesomely killed at a Morning Mass in Benue in April 2018. The message of the church was visibly expressed on placards some of which read, 'stop the killings', 'killing is a sin', 'Mr. President defend Nigerians or resign', 'Have we lost our humanity?'
